These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the websites, online platforms and related applications operated by OSHTREE Training & Consultancy WLL (“OSHTREE”). By using these platforms, users agree to follow these terms.
Enrolment, fees, cancellations, refunds, assessment arrangements, course access and tutor support are governed by our Learner Terms and Conditions and any course-specific conditions provided and agreed before payment. If these Terms of Use conflict with those documents concerning paid learning services, the Learner Terms and Conditions and agreed course-specific conditions take precedence.
Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory rights available under applicable law.
1 Acceptable Use
Users must use OSHTREE’s websites and platforms lawfully and responsibly. Users must not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with systems, introduce harmful software, impersonate another person or use the platforms for fraudulent, abusive or unlawful activities.
Learners must also follow the academic integrity, assessment and conduct requirements applicable to their course.
2 Accounts and Access
Certain services require a registered account. Users must provide accurate information, keep their login credentials confidential and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
Accounts must not be shared or used by another person unless expressly authorised by OSHTREE.
Access to paid learning materials and tutor support is provided for the period stated in the learner’s course information or enrolment confirmation. Any extension arrangements and charges will be communicated before acceptance.
3 Content and Intellectual Property
Website content, branding and learning materials belong to OSHTREE, the relevant content owners or their licensors.
Learners may use materials supplied to them for their own authorised study. Materials must not be copied for distribution, sold, publicly uploaded or used commercially without permission, except where permitted by law or the applicable licence.
Learners retain ownership of their original work. OSHTREE may process and retain submissions as necessary for assessment, quality assurance, certification and applicable record-keeping requirements, as explained in the Learner Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
4 External Links and Services
Our websites may contain links to external websites or services. Their content, availability and privacy practices are controlled by the relevant providers. A link does not, by itself, imply OSHTREE’s endorsement.
Where an external service forms part of a paid learning arrangement, OSHTREE’s responsibilities remain subject to the agreed learner terms and applicable law.
5 Suspension or Termination of Access
OSHTREE may restrict or suspend website or account access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, serious breaches of these terms or legal requirements.
Where practicable, the user will be informed of the reason and given an opportunity to respond. Immediate restrictions may be necessary to protect users, information or systems.
Any suspension or termination affecting paid learning services, including its consequences for course access, tutor support or refunds, will be handled under the Learner Terms and Conditions, agreed course-specific conditions and applicable law.
6 Website Availability and Liability
OSHTREE takes reasonable care in operating its websites and learning platforms but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Where disruption affects paid learning services, OSHTREE will take reasonable steps to restore access and communicate appropriate alternative arrangements.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or overrides a learner’s contractual rights to purchased services, applicable refunds, agreed support or other remedies.
7 Changes to These Terms
OSHTREE may update these Terms of Use and will publish the revised version with its effective date.
Updates apply prospectively and will not retrospectively reduce rights or change the fees, refund arrangements, course access or tutor support agreed for an existing enrolment.
Material changes affecting an existing enrolment will be communicated directly to the learner and, where agreement is required, agreed before taking effect. Continued website use alone will not constitute acceptance of changes to an existing learner contract.
8 Privacy and Sign-In Services
Personal information collected through our websites, accounts and learning services is handled in accordance with the OSHTREE Privacy Policy.
Where Google Sign-In is available, basic profile information, such as the user’s name and email address, is used to authenticate and manage the account. Users should review the permissions displayed during sign-in and the applicable privacy information.
